The Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) at Inova Fairfax Hospital is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse to scrub and circulate in various specialties. This full time position is either 30 or 40 hours/week Choose 10 hour or 12 hour shifts (3x10, 4x10, or 3x12 hour shifts). Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance eligible!

Job Responsibilities:
As a RN in the CVOR at Inova Fairfax Hospital, you will support adult and pediatric/congenital cardiac surgeries. The 7 state-of-the-art CVORs are equipped with Stryker integrated video and a Philips (Single Plane) Hybrid OR. They serve all cardiac surgery needs including thoracic organ transplant (heart and lung), mechanical circulatory support, structural heart, congenital, and advanced aortic surgery.

Requirements:
Schedule: Full time, Days vary, 10 hour or 12 hour shifts (3x10, 4x10, or 3x12 hour shifts)
Experience: 2 years CVOR Registered Nurse experience is required. May consider OR RNs seeking to specialize in CVOR. Preferred: Previous experience both scrub and circulating in a cardiac surgery service line setting performing complex procedures i.e. transplant, aortic dissections, structural heart.
Education: BSN or ADN (If ADN: must complete/obtain BSN within 24 months of start date)
Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association & VA RN license; CNOR certification highly desired
Previous experience in a Level I Trauma Center is preferred
EKG proficiency
