Woodburn Surgery Center (WSC) is currently seeking an experienced Operating Room Nurse.

The surgery center staff do not work nights, weekends, holidays, or take call.

Hours of Operation:
Woodburn Surgery Center is open Monday - Friday, no weekends or Holidays. The facility is open from 0530 - 1900 hrs. with staff working:
OR Hrs. 8 & 10 hr. shifts

Job Responsibilities:
As a RN in the CVOR at Inova Fairfax Hospital, you will support adult and pediatric/congenital cardiac surgeries. The 7 state-of-the-art CVORs are equipped with Stryker integrated video and a Philips (Single Plane) Hybrid OR. They serve all cardiac surgery needs including thoracic organ transplant (heart and lung), mechanical circulatory support, structural heart, congenital, and advanced aortic surgery.

Requirements:
Schedule: Hours of operation are Monday-Friday - . No Nights, weekends, holidays, or take call.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year direct Operating Room Registered Nurse experience is required.
Education: BSN or ADN (If ADN: must complete/obtain BSN within 24 months of start date)
Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association & VA RN license; CNOR certification highly desired
CNOR and Level 1 Trauma experience encouraged but not required.
