We are looking for professionals to be a Project Accountant - AR/Billing (Construction) for one of our clients. Our culture encourages relationship, fellowship, collaboration, and fun. Project Accountant - AR/Billing (Construction)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Accounting degree or equivalent experience (4+ years of accounting experience)

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a construction accounting environment

Consistent work history

Ability to process high volume data with accuracy

Skilled in MS Office and Excel

Must live in the DFW metroplex with legal authorization to work in the United States of America

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Establish and manage all project setups, reviewing contracts to confirm billing specifications, instructions, and requirements.

Ensure monthly pay applications are accurately prepared, reviewed, and submitted on schedule.

Set up and maintain accurate AIA billing and CCIP reporting.

Address and resolve billing issues promptly.

Collaborate closely with Project Managers and General Contractor counterparts to build strong working relationships.

Manage and provide required documentation, including insurance certificates and lien releases.

Oversee collections to support timely cash flow.

Adhere to and maintain compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

Perform high-volume data entry and generate reports using computer systems.

Assist in supporting accounting audits.
