The Deamer Group is excited to partner with Red Duke Strategies in its search for a highly skilled Project Manager VSO Engagement. This is a full-time remote opportunity in the Washington DC area. Position Summary:

Red Duke Strategies is in McLean VA and is a service-disabled Veteran owned small business committed to improving the lives of service members and their families by bringing innovation, to the systems that support them. Red Duke Strategies focuses on healthcare innovation, climate and energy security and military child education. Partnering with the government and the private sector, Red Duke Strategies seeks to increase awareness, innovation and social responsibility improving the lives of all they serve.

The Project Manager VSO Engagement (Veteran's Service Organization) will be charged with supporting the development and execution of the engagement plan with Veteran Service Organizations and other key stakeholders to achieve the OHIL's strategic objectives and drive Red Duke Strategies engagement with partners across the private, public, and nonprofit sectors. They will also serve as the primary point of contact for the project to internal and external stakeholders and the lead responsible party for contract deliverables and contract execution.

Candidates should be self-motivated, able to work independently, and comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Able to give and receive constructive criticisms in reference to the work.

Role Responsibilities:

Assist in the development and approval of the project strategy, including key objectives, activities, and team roles.

Design and align the work in support of the broader strategy, including timeline, milestones, and deliverables.

Coordinate, manage, and execute the day-to-day work associated with the project including contract deliverable deadlines and project task management.

Supervise and support the team communication staff, including performance evaluation and professional development.

Lead the planning and execution of the VSO conference participation strategy.

Serve as the project liaison to executive leadership, VA, and industry stakeholders.

Perform weekly project analysis and reporting, tracking progress and reporting to internal and external stakeholders.

Cultivate and maintain relationships with key VHA, industry stakeholders, vendors, and partners to ensure effective program operations.

Identify innovative solutions to challenges and escalate issues as needed to RDS leadership.

Location: Washington, D.C. (Remote) - This position is remote, with occasional in-person meetings and events in Washington, D.C.

Reports to: Director of Operations

Ability to travel: 15%

Salary Range: $80000+ DOE

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree required.

3-5 years of forward-facing customer service or vendor management.

5-10 years of experience in Healthcare Project Management and Client Management.

Strong preference for candidates with experience working in the Veterans Healthcare space and with Veterans Health Administration.

Self-motivated, able to work independently, and comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Experience with MS Office, Teams and Smart Sheets.

Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal.

Able to effectively convey information in presentation form to senior leadership and external stakeholders.

Strong organizational, time and people management skills.

Ability to motivate and manage highly qualified subject matter experts.

Experience with fast-paced strategic thinking to assist with overcoming obstacles.

Experience working in high growth, start-up organizations is preferred.

Ability to travel if necessary.
