Job Overview
As a Drafting Technician, you will play a crucial role in creating technical drawings and plans for various projects. You will utilize your expertise in drafting software to support the design and development process.

Duties

Create detailed designs and drawings uSing AutoCAD. Mechanical Desktop, and catla software. focusing on aesthetic appeal and functional utility.

Develop interior and exterior design plans for residential and commercial renovation projects. ensuring compliance with dient specifications and regulatory requirements. Drafting and Technical Documentation:

Prepare technical drawings and plans as precise guides for construction and renovation work.

Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure the accuracy of dimensions and design specifications.

Project Coordination:

Participate In meetings and ooordinate wtth stakeholders to gather requirements. provide design Insights, and incorporate feedback into design plans.

Assist in managing project timelines and deliverables, ensuring design phases align with project schedules.

Design Customization and Modificiltion:

Customize designs to meet specific client needs, preferences, and spatial constraintS.

Modify existing designs and layouts to accommodate structural changes and ent1M3ncements.

Material and Equipment Setectk n:

Recommend materials, finishes, and equipment that complement the design aesthetic. and 1meet budgetary constraints.

Stay abreast of the latest design trends, materials, and technologies to Incorporate innovative solutions into renovation projects.

Conduct consultations with clients to understand their vision, needs, and objectives for the renovation project.

Present design concepts and proposals utilizing visual aids and digital presentations to illustrate design ideas and modifications. Continuous Learning and Development:

Engage in ongoing professional development to ent,ance design skills, technical knowledge. and indusby awareness. Participate in workshops, seminars, and training sessiOns relevant to renovation design and technology.

Compliance and Standards Adherence:

Requirements

- Associate Bachelor in General Drawing
- Proficiency in drafting software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Catia
- Knowledge of additional software like Rhino, Corona, Lumion, Sketch up
- Experience in mechanical desktop or interior design preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting work
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Understanding of CAD principles and best practices
