Creative Financial Staffing has partnered with a well established firm in the Real Estate industry in the search for a Portfolio Valuation Analyst in Boston. With a portfolio in excess of $12 billion, they carry decades of experience in real estate investment, finance, development, construction management and asset management.

Responsibilities of the Portfolio Valuation Analyst include but are not limited to:

  • Perform detailed valuation analysis of investment portfolios, including equities, fixed income, derivatives, and alternative assets
  • Conduct financial modeling and sensitivity analysis to assess asset performance
  • Prepare comprehensive valuation reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Monitor market trends, economic data, and industry developments impacting portfolio value
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and reporting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP)
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers to support investment strategies and decision-making
  • Communicate valuation results and insights to clients, auditors, and senior management
  • Maintain and update valuation models and methodologies as needed

Portfolio Valuation Analyst requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field
  • 2+ years of prior real estate valuation experience
  • Strong understanding of valuation methodologies (e.g., DCF, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions).
  • Experience with financial modeling, data analysis, and valuation software (e.g., Excel, Bloomberg).
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Commutable to Boston
