Creative Financial Staffing is collaborating with a long-standing manufacturing company in Greater Boston to find an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Invoice Management: Review, audit, and post freight invoices while maintaining internal control standards.
• Payment Processing: Handle WIRE, ACH, and check payments on a rotating schedule, ensuring accuracy before releasing payments.
• Accruals and Invoices: Match invoices against accruals and collaborate with the Logistics department to resolve discrepancies.
• Manual Posting: Post inbound freight and inventory invoices manually against accruals.
• Issue Resolution: Address variances and issues with both internal and external freight customers.

Desired Background:

• Experience: 3+ years of accounts payable experience.
• Knowledge: General understanding of GAAP.
• Preference: Experience with both domestic and international accounts and familiarity with complex ERP systems or Microsoft AX Dynamics is preferred.
