Job description

Responsibilities:
Peraton is looking for an Enterprise Architect for a hybrid position (2-3 days of telecommuting). Must be commutable distance to Quantico, VA.

What you'll do:

Developing and reviewing DoDAF Architecture in support of USMC Chief Systems Architect Develop guidance for use of DoDAF Architecture to support JCIDS, ISP, and MBSE efforts. Lead and engage in information/data management projects including the Enterprise Architecture, information models and flows, data dictionaries, data standards, and data quality standards and processes.

Develop application modeling languages/techniques (e.g., Unified Modeling Language (UML), Systems Modeling Language (SysML), entity relationship modeling, Unified Profile for DoDAF/MODAF (UPDM2), and Unified Architecture Framework (UAF including the ability to create and read the associated diagrams.

Creation of data dictionaries, defining metadata management approaches and governance processes. Experience in developing and implementing IT architecture plans, Enterprise Information Architecture
standard and guidelines, software development methodologies and strategic plans.

Qualifications:
What you'll need:

Education: 5 years with BS/BA, 3 years with MS/MA or 0 years with PhD, or 9 years of experience in
lieu of a degree

Experience in developing system architectures.

Clearance: Secret Security Clearance required

Familiarity with system modeling tools and modeling languages, particularly the Cameo application and SysML.

Desired qualifications:

Experience in Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) and Network Architecture development.

Experience with data Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)

UML/SYSML/UPDM/UAF Knowledge

Marine Corps experience or knowledge

Target Salary Range:
$80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
