Work on a development team, utilizing Agile scrum methodology, which is responsible for developing and maintain agency wide Platform as a Service (PaaS) capability deployed across multiple security domains. The PaaS environment supports multiple tenants deploying a myriad application stacks and data services. Specific Duties and Responsibilities: O&M of existing Red Hat OpenShift environment across multiple security domains in both Cloud and datacenter (vSphere) environments Support OpenShift operators and frameworks including Crossplane, Kyverno, RedHat GitOps Deploy OpenShift to new sites as they come online Work with internal and external teams to understand integration requirements and scale existing platforms to meet them Work with Security to ensure ongoing compliance and develop secure solutions Support data services including RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL, Elastic Stack Compile detailed documentation Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Programming, Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline. 5+ years Developer experience Meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements including one of the following: Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA Desired Skills: Experience deploying and managing RedHat OpenShift in a cloud and/or vSphere environment Experience with Amazon Web Services Python, Shell scripting, Git (desired) Linux distributions: RHEL/RHCOS, CentOS CI/CD orchestration tools: GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitOps Container technology: Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud Native Computing Foundation ecosystem in general Desired Certifications: Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift What you will get: Joining a team of technology experts and partners in the same mission A high-growth environment with plenty of opportunities to grow your career as the company grows Owner and Leadership team that come from technical backgrounds so they understand the day-to-day challenges of the technical consulting world and can offer real-life solutions and guidance Highly competitive benefits package that shows we want to hire the very best Location: Springfield, VA
