Variety of Company Sponsored Events Your Impact The Full Stack Developer will perform rapid application development within a Computer Vision (CV) environment. Develop and maintain a Python-based computer vision processing system that serves as the backend for a user facing application. Develop and maintain a GUI application using modern REST API and Web frameworks. You will work closely with intelligence analysts, ETL engineers, and customers to incorporate new features and scale the application. Utilize best practices for source control, testing, and deployment of software changes. Able to maintain a high awareness of industry issues and trends Responsibilities Lead and participate in the architectural design of features early in the development cycle
Work with Customer Stakeholders, Program Managers, and Product Owners to translate the road map features into management components/tasks, estimate timings, and resources, suggest solutions, and identify possible risk
Conduct peer reviews to improve code quality
Help to follow development testing, exploratory testing, AI testing, and/or test automation
Own your code in production, respond to incidents as they occur, and participate in retros to determine how to be better in the future
Work towards reducing the total number of defects in the module/product to industry standards by catching and fixing issues early in development
Resolve all critical and high-priority security defects in-sprint, or by the guidelines set by the SecOps team
Help build high-performing teams, grow and mentor the technical skills within the team and create development opportunities for them Required Skills Active TS/SCI clearance required.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field - Master's degree is a plus!
6+ years of experience as a software engineer
Robust object-oriented design pattern knowledge and implementation experience using Python
Strong understanding of data modeling techniques
Experience working with large volumes of time series data and building services, APIs, and applications based of it
Experience working with relational/non-relational databases and understanding of storage technologies (like Postgresql, MongoDB, and BigQuery)
Experience with DevOps tools like Git
Intermediate experience level of authoring and running Gitlab CI/CD pipelines
DevOps experience with AWS, or other cloud solutions to include Google Cloud Platform and Azure; capable of allocating and managing resources
Experience with Agile development concepts and related tools
4+ years of experience developing in Python Experience with Python web server frameworks like Flask, FastAPI, Pydantic, Gunicorn, Uvicorn
Experience working with Node.js development with libraries like React.js and/or Electron
Experience using content servers such Apache and nginx
Capable of using cloud native development of microservices
Intermediate experience with defining, building, and deploying Docker containers
Advanced experience in React/JavaScript development
Desired Skills (Optional)
Experience in designing multi-tier application architecture and distributed caching solutions
Knowledge of Python ML stack modules like Scikit-learn, Keras, Tensorflow, and PyTorch
Able to generate a REST API with a minimal amount of code
Experience with Computer Vision SW such as Matroid and xnview
