Job description
Overview:
The Recruiting Manager is responsible for driving all aspects of the talent recruitment process for non-exempt and select exempt level candidates not requiring elevated Executive Search Firm engagement. The Recruiting Manager is responsible for understanding all available systems/tools and strategically analyzing recruiting efforts (measuring, evaluating, reporting, and planning based on quantifiable results).
Responsibilities:
1. Manage Non-Exempt recruiting cycle from sourcing to close.
2. Manage Exempt recruiting for select roles not elevated to Executive Search firms
3. Identifies staffing needs based on Budgets and Source reports, creating cost effective strategies to successfully address in timely manner.
4. Identifies and implements recruiting and hiring "best practices" aimed at sourcing the most qualified applicants.
5. Identify candidates and generate pipelines, both active and passive, for approved openings.
6. Call, screen, interview and select candidates and assist them through the recruitment process.
7. Responsible for full cycle recruiting (screening, interviewing, offers, I-9 documentation and background checks) ensuring accurate information is sent to payroll
8. Understand the Compensation and Benefits plans to answer all candidate questions during the recruiting process
9. Guide candidates through the recruiting process and ensure proper introduction/"handoff" of new hire to appropriate Operations Leader.
10. Understand and deliver on the importance of sourcing passive candidates.
11. Work closely with other HR/Ops managers to develop and execute tactical sourcing strategies aimed at generating candidate flow to meet overall recruiting goals.
12. Collaborates with Property Ops and Payroll Department to ensure efforts are aligned, fostering a professional/consistent onboarding experience for new associates and maximizing recruiting efficiencies.
13. Plan and Execute targeted sourcing initiatives. (Career Fairs, Virtual Hiring Events, Strategic Partner Relationships, Internships, Referral Programs etc.)
14. Ability to generate a high volume and high-quality pipeline of candidates under very tight timelines
15. Create and understand all analytics/reporting associated with Staffing and Spend
16. Establish and maintain community contacts and build connections that aid in passive recruiting techniques to ensure effective staffing levels.
17. Create and execute talent strategies utilizing social media, channel sourcing and employment branding to position GoldKey PHR as an Employer of Choice.
18. Manages full hourly recruitment cycle from sourcing to close via recruiting platform.
19. Update status of candidates in the system in a timely and accurate manner.
20. In conjunction with Director of Recruiting & Training/Director of Human Resources develop an effective/compelling presentation to sell the job, future opportunities, and company to prospective candidates.
21. Work with hiring managers and interview teams to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and candidates are assessed against appropriate criteria.
22. Regular follow up with the respective hiring managers and candidates to ensure timeliness of recruitment process.
23. Ensure I9 information is accurate and updates prior to expiration
24. Ensure all interview and employment processes comply with appropriate State & Federal regulations.
25. Manage and motivate seasonal recruiters to deliver sourcing strategies to ensure effective staffing.
26. Ensure a streamlined/Process Driven hiring practice for the candidates and company
27. Performs all other duties and special projects as assigned.
Additional Responsibilities at Hilton Norfolk The Main
28. Supplies Name Tags for all Associates as required. Maintains name tag inventory and troubleshoots machine as needed
29. Generates reports on staffing levels including recruitment efforts based on targeted goals.
30. Provides Benefits related support as needed with printing benefit materials for onsite meetings, inquiries about plans, form completion, reporting and compliance.
31. Completes purchase orders utilizing purchasing system
32. Maintains and updates Associate records on the Source, including profile pictures, reporting structure, associate information, etc.
33. Assists with Personnel Action Form (PAF) processing for transfers, address and name changes, and terminations.
34. Supports Associates with gaining access to payroll data and escalates payroll related questions if needed.
35. Responds to non-payroll Employment Verifications
36. Manages time clock enrollment, inquiries and troubleshooting
37. Promotes HRT bus pass program and assists with Associate requests.
38. Oversees management of uniform inventory including ordering, receiving, department billing, distribution, payroll deductions, and physical inventory.
39. Performs administrative duties such as filing, reporting, tracking, photocopying, etc.
40. Supports Associate engagement efforts on property.
