We are currently seeking a highly motivated and qualified EHS Manager with a Top-Secret security clearance with Polygraph to join our dedicated team. Job Summary: The Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager in the security field is responsible for building companywide safety culture and coordinating client safety initiatives. This role is the point person for developing, implementing, and managing EHS programs and policies to ensure alignment with client EHS programs and initiatives, compliance with all relevant regulations and to promote a safe working environment. This role involves conducting risk assessments, training employees, and leading initiatives to continuously improve EHS performance. Responsibilities: Build awareness and safe behavior culture across the team.
Design, develop, and implement comprehensive EHS programs and policies specific to security officer functions within the data center environment.
Ensure EHS programs comply with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as industry standards.
Conduct regular risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential EHS risks.
Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks.
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees at all levels.
Ensure employees are knowledgeable about EHS policies, procedures, and best practices.
Maintain training records and ensure compliance with training requirements.
Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant EHS regulations and standards.
Prepare and submit EHS reports to regulatory agencies and senior management.
Maintain accurate records of EHS activities, incidents, and compliance.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in EHS practices.
Implement EHS initiatives and projects to enhance safety and environmental performance.
Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in EHS management.
Lead and mentor a team of EHS professionals.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure EHS initiatives are integrated into overall business operations.
Serve as a point of contact for clients, external regulatory bodies and industry organizations. Job Requirements Qualifications: Top-Secret security clearance with Polygraph.
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in EHS management, preferably in the security or related industry.
Strong knowledge of EHS regulations, standards, and best practices.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Proven ability to develop and deliver effective EHS training programs.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHMM) are preferred.
Leadership and team management.
Strategic thinking and planning.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and EHS management software.
Strong organizational skills.
