Description:
Markon's partner company is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Administrator to join our technology-based program supporting a key government customer.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshooting workstations and desktop applications
Provide Tier I & II problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution or escalates to Engineering team.
Deliver engineering services for network infrastructure as well as sophisticated enterprise computing infrastructure including end-point devices, data center hosted servers, multi-Cloud services as well as virtualized applications, and storage systems.
Ensure the performance of the systems and add new users to the system.
Answer questions or resolve computer problems for clients via telephone or using tools to gain remote access.
Provide Close Support problem identification, diagnosis and resolution, or escalate to Tier II onsite troubleshooting, customer problem investigation and technical assistance to computer system users.
Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client problems.
Provide support for communication of status to management and internal customers.
Monitoring and problem resolution for all to the client problems.
Coordinate and implement security measures to safeguard computer databases.
Responsible for operations related to systems management software.
Addressing trouble tickets in a timely fashion.
Troubleshoot workstations, office applications, printers, and digital senders
Creation of system documentation, standard operating procedures, and system guides.
Creating request for support (ESMT) from internal/external service providers.
Support access management tracking of inventory.
Delivering and setting up site hardware.
Delivering IC PKI Certification users.
Qualifications:
Required Skills:
A minimum of 6 years' experience, and a range of skill levels from basic to advanced. Bachelor's or Master's Degree are preferred.
Experience with account authorization, renames, username changes, disablement, and creation.
Experience supporting end-users (CST Phone Support).
Experience with effective workstation builds and labeling.
Working knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, SharePoint, and Windows 10.
Familiarity with Microsoft Windows desktop operating system build processes and tools.
Effective verbal and written communications
Travel to non-warzone areas up to 30% of the time is required.
Desired Skills:
Extensive experience or training related to a particular skill, language, system, or technology.
Capable of not only delivering a capability tied to that skill, but also passing their knowledge on to others.
Requires a minimum of six (6) years of experience specific to the skill.
