Job description

The KASTELLUM Group is seeking a highly qualified IO Planner to support the 1st
Information Operations Command at Ft Belvoir, VA. Mission Supported: The Army Information Operations Center (AIOC) provides supported commands with a
comprehensive and fused Information Operations intelligence and planning capability.
Additionally, the Army Information Operations Center provides a structure that will increase
effectiveness and efficiencies in its ability to characterize, analyze, and assess the information
environment across the geographical combatant commands, and to identify gaps and seams
between the Global Combatant Commands as we observe Global Information Operations. AIOC provides the ability to integrate the strategic and operational information environment
with the tactical environment, providing supported commands with comprehensive Information
Operations products to conduct full spectrum Information Environment Operations.
Specifically, AIOC provides the Army and Joint Forces with shared Tactics, Techniques and
Procedures, detailed analysis, and planning support using all-source and geospatial
intelligence in support of Information Operations requirements. It provides social, behavioral,
cultural, and linguistic expertise to enhance the supported commanders' planning and
intelligence capabilities in the fight across all warfighting domains. Desired Qualifications: • Minimum of 8 years' experience • Possess an active TS/SCI clearance Work Location: Ft Belvoir, Virginia with some travel required IO Planner Responsibilities: • The Contractor shall review, develop, and maintain plans, operations, orders, and assessments. • The Contractor shall review, make recommendations to, and support the development of doctrine, organization, training, material, leadership and education, personnel, and facilities (DOTMLPF) change recommendations, requirements, concept development, and doctrine, in accordance with all published and verbal regulations, guidance, and policy. • The Contractor shall participate in, and contribute to, planning teams, working groups, and events; write reports and give briefs; coordinate and synchronize Information Operations related capabilities; and promote Information Operations interoperability among Joint, Army, service organizations and agencies in support of 1st IO Command and supported unit missions. • Contractor support shall include the following tasks: , o Review and provide input to Combatant Command, Army Service Component Command, and higher headquarters plans, and orders for feasibility, compatibility, effectiveness, or expected results. o Develop Operational Concepts, synchronization matrixes, supporting lines of efforts, and courses of action to support the desired effects and objectives of supported units and organizations. o Monitor, research, and analyze the information environment of Combatant Command areas of responsibility. o Research and produce Information Operations assessments, reports, and projections. o Participate in working groups and planning teams to develop courses of action; coordinate and synchronize capabilities; and advise on the appropriate utilization of information related capabilities. o Plan and support the integration of information operations and supporting information related capabilities into Joint and Service component exercises, experiments, and training events. o Review Intelligence support to information operations products for their contribution to the overall project or mission and contribute planner considerations to focus planner attention to the impact of the product on plans development.
