Job description

Description PWS Title: Training Specialist Location: Dahlgren, VA Clearance Type: Secret Responsibilities (including but not limited to): Provide support that includes conducting registrations, proctoring exams, and communicating with participating institutions regarding student assignments and exams; computer system administration; scheduling, setup and operation of training rooms, equipment, and materials; and general administrative support of training program operations. On-site and mandatory training program management support shall include distribution of billet allocations; receipt of registrations; inputting participant enrollment/cancelations in on-site/mandatory training database; creating class rosters; sending correspondence to enrolled participants; reporting and maintenance of attendance data; and correspondence with training site administration for troubleshooting. Must be proficient in Microsoft TEAMS applications, conduct LIVE training events to include roles of presenter and producer. Must be able to assist personnel with troubleshooting on MS TEAMS to ensure class participation and completion of training courses. Participate with appropriate Navy mandatory training working groups and communities of practice on processes and implementation strategies. Coordinate and assist with appropriate Navy sponsored events both on and off-site. Off-site events such as tours may require Contractor to work beyond normal duty hours. Participate and support new employee familiarization training in the capacities already described above. C.3.10.4 Staffing and Classification- Onboarding Assist Government personnel in New Employee Orientation program management support which shall include reception and guidance of new employees during orientation; scheduling of presenters; scheduling and setup of training room, equipment, and materials; computer system administration; correspondence with new hires, various corporate operations divisions, and HR branches to ensure employee has completed all onboarding requirements; data collection and input; and training and attendance tracking and reporting Qualifications Six (6) years of experience in an RDT&E technical environment, with at least four years in Navy ERP as a subject matter expert (SME) in the area of ERP instructional training
