We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager, Global Trade who will manage export/import licensing and compliance activities within Raytheon's Advanced Products & Solutions (APS), Radio Frequency Solutions (RFS). In this role, you will be expected to provide strategic oversight, guidance, and leadership for your RFS programs portfolio in connection with all facets of export/import authorizations program including under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR), respectively. You will also be responsible for contributing to key global trade compliance infrastructure elements including people, processes/procedures, automated solutions/tools, training, and metrics as well as collaborate closely with diverse functional groups across the organization and championing compliant business practices in the intricate landscape of export and import regulations. What You Will Do Serve as Empowered Official Supervise a team of Global Trade professionals & support and nurture each member of your team with career development guidance/activities Provide export/import licensing guidance and license portfolio management guidance Support the business with developing export/import licensing strategies to enable business growth Subject Matter Expert (SME) in ITAR and EAR Export Authorizations requirements and drafting Review, prepare, submit, and manage Export/Import Authorizations (Licenses: DSP-5, DSP-85, DSP-73, DSP-61, DOC licenses; Agreements: MLAs and TAAs; Exemptions/Exceptions) to authorize the transfer of regulated hardware, technical data, software, and services Review and approve export transactional requests involving engineering support services, meetings, employee travel, visitor access, technical data/defense service exports, and hardware exports Provide day-to-day guidance and support to EO/IR Solutions personnel on export licensing and compliance needs (e.g., releasability, etc.). Interpret and explain export compliance requirements such as license/TAA provisos, export regulations, and Raytheon export policies and procedures Assist with investigations and reviews of possible GT escapes and disclosures Contribute to key global trade compliance infrastructure elements including people, processes/procedures, automated solutions/tools, training, and metrics What You Will Learn As you lead a team of Global Trade licensing professionals, you'll master the art of providing insightful guidance on licensing strategies and portfolio management, fueling the growth of our business You will play a pivotal role in contributing to the continuous improvement of our licensing and compliance processes Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance Experience in drafting and submitting Department of State and Department of Commerce license and agreement applications and other authorization requests Currently or previously designated an Empowered Official Experience with DECCS, or SNAP-R, or CR EASE, and/or other automated licensing and compliance systems and/or resources Experience directly supervising Global Trade teams Qualifications We Prefer Active & transferable DoD Secret Clearance Self-starter with demonstrated ability to develop effective networks with internal customers and ability to collaborate with multiple business functions for success Strong time management, prioritization, analytical and organizational skills, with ability to meet deadlines and achieve desired results Experience in leadership positions or similar associated with developing strategic business acumen Problem solver, able to work under time sensitive circumstances, collaboratively or independently Excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with all levels of internal and external stakeholders Extensive knowledge of Global Trade systems such as RGEMS and/or SAP systems What We Offer

El Segundo, CA - McKinney, TX - Arlington, VA - The salary range for this role is 130,000 USD - 272,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
