Job description
Position Summary:
Under direction of engineering staff or physical scientists assists in all phases of the design, development, production, testing, operation, and maintenance of mechanical equipment, tools, and industrial machinery in the area of specialization (Design, Materials, Mechanical, Electrical, or Structural Engineering).
Responsibilities:
Collect information from clients, prepare project scopes and plans and deliver cost estimates
Develop draft reports and work with Technical Experts as needed to finalize for client delivery
Deliver exceptional professional customer service with various industrial companies, energy companies, internal and external stakeholders, etc.
Carry out system equipment maintenance and repair as needed.
Other work duties as assigned.
Requirements:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Strong technical knowledge in applicable field (Design, Materials, Mechanical, Electrical, or Structural Engineering)
Analytical/investigation skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, high energy, customer-focused and a positive, success-oriented attitude
EDUCATION:
0 - 6 years of experience in specialized field (Design, Materials, Mechanical, Electrical, or Structural Engineering)
Professional certification and/or Associates degree

Working Conditions:
Office environment with limited physical effort, continuous mental effort, and frequent complex requests for assistance in and out of a lab environment.
Limited outside environment with continuous physical effort, exposure to 5-7 elements/conditions, moderate mental effort.
Travel may be required.
