Naval Architect - REMOTE Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Naval Architect to join our team. In this role, you will work remotely to design, develop, and manage naval architecture projects. You will leverage your expertise to ensure that marine vessels and structures are designed to meet both technical and regulatory requirements while contributing to the success of our diverse engineering projects.

Naval Architect - REMOTE Responsibilities

  • Develop and design detailed plans for marine vessels and offshore structures, including hull form, stability, and structural integrity.
  • Conduct hydrostatic and hydrodynamic analyses to ensure optimal performance and safety of naval designs.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, architects, and contractors, to integrate naval architecture requirements into larger projects.
  • Prepare and review technical documentation, including design reports, specifications, and construction drawings.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards, codes, and regulations, such as ABS, DNV GL, and IMO.
  • Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring that designs meet client specifications and project requirements.
  • Provide technical support and guidance during the construction and commissioning phases of projects.

Naval Architect - REMOTE Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • 10+ Years of related Engineering experience/ 5-10 years of experience in Naval Architecture and Design.
  • Proficiency in naval architecture software (e.g., Maxsurf, OrcaFlex, AutoCAD, Rhino) and tools is a plus.
