Key Responsibilities:

Neonatal Intensive Care: Provide comprehensive care to infants born at 32 weeks gestation or greater, including those requiring CPAP and ventilation support.

Newborn Nursery: Provide coverage for the well-newborn nursery, ensuring the health and well-being of all infants.

Teaching and Mentorship: Share your knowledge and expertise with residents, fostering a collaborative learning environment.

Family-Centered Care: Partner with families to provide compassionate, comprehensive care that meets the unique needs of each infant and their family.

Collaboration: Work as an integral member of a supportive team of neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners.

Qualifications & Experience:

Required:

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school

Active board certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics in both Pediatrics and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine

3+ years of post-training experience

Ability to obtain an unrestricted medical license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

Unrestricted DEA certification

Preferred:

Academic credentials for a faculty appointment at the rank of Associate Professor

Experience in a Level II NICU as the primary physician
