Summary: This position provides Advanced Individual Training (AIT) instruction to students in the 13J Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) for the Fires Center of Excellence (FCoE), at the 428 th Field Artillery (FA) Brigade (BDE) aboard Fort Sill, OK Job Description Follow approved Programs of Instruction for the 13J MOS and teach to standard, the contents of each lesson plan subject Make modifications to adapt material to needs of the class Ensure the total time, training devices used, and topics are in accordance with approved POIs and lesson plans Present classroom and field instruction on technical capabilities of equipment and systems associated with each of the 13J MOS (AFATDS and AMP-V) Ensure all required resources are on hand and in good working condition Present classroom and field instruction on the preparation, operation, and maintenance procedures required for 13J MOS systems and equipment (AFATDS and AMP-V) Present instruction on the individual and crew level skills, tasks, and duties necessary for the doctrinal employment and operation of the 13J MOS systems and equipment Administer examinations, evaluate test results, correlate test results of the students' ability, and provide recommendations to academic deficiency panels on changes and student status Analyze AIT individual and class academic duty performance and provide recommendations for improvement to the COR concerning course materials, methods of instruction, and performance evaluation when requested Conduct a periodic review of the POI for each of the specified 13 Series MOSs and make recommendations to the COR to update the POI Assist in preparation, set-up, and tear-down of necessary equipment, including vehicles prior to and at the conclusion of daily operations Perform limited emergency repairs such as changing tires, fuse replacements, etc. at the discretion and abilities of the operator, based on established procedures and the extent of repair needed Clean vehicles and equipment when returning from field training Ensure that loading/unloading and operation of military equipment/system vehicles is done safely and that cargo (e.g., supplies, materials) and military personnel are appropriately protected Qualifications Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the 13J MOS within the last 10 years Provide proof of experience associated with the 13J Instructor requirement (DD Form 214, Enlisted Records Brief (ERB)/Warrant/Officer Records Brief, Noncommissioned Officer Evaluation Report (NCOER), or Certificate of Completion (13J MOS Qualified) Possess a SECRET security clearance Complete Instructor certification provided by 428 th FA BDE Command Qualified on and demonstrate the proper employment and operation of the listed Army equipment and systems associated with 13J MOS: 13J: Multiple Launch Rocket System: a.
