Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Commercial Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial door and window projects. This role requires a strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze project plans and specifications to develop detailed cost estimates.

- Collaborate with sales, project managers, and clients to understand project requirements.

- Prepare and present bid proposals, including labor, materials, and equipment costs.

- Identify and quantify cost factors, such as production time and raw material, labor expenses.

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, pricing, and construction techniques.

- Communicate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain accurate pricing.

- Review and adjust estimates in response to project changes and client feedback.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)

- Minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial estimating, preferably in the door and window industry.

- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

- Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and specifications.

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
