Job Title: Operations Manager

Position Overview: We are seeking an Operations Manager for our structural steel fabrication group. The ideal candidate will have experience managing operations within a fabrication environment and will be responsible for overseeing daily activities to ensure efficiency and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the structural steel fabrication shop.
• Manage production schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Monitor and maintain quality control standards.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other departments.
• Manage staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Optimize processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Handle inventory management and procurement of materials.
• Resolve operational issues and implement improvements.

Qualifications:

• Experience in operations management within a structural steel fabrication environment.
• Strong understanding of fabrication processes and industry standards.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and quality control procedures.
