Job Title: Cloud Network Engineer (AWS)
Location: Fort Liberty
Duration: Long term W2 Contract Responsibilities: • Evaluate, design, document, install, implement, test, and troubleshoot network systems with a broad range of knowledge.
• Maintain a complex array of computer network components and systems.
• Provide client consulting and training on interfacing and using network facilities.
• Plan and coordinate computer network initiatives.
• Research, evaluate, and recommend new network equipment and technologies.
• Devise solutions to operational problems within the capacity and operational limitations of installed equipment.
• Offer internal consulting, technical guidance, information, and support to application developers, computer operations, workstation support, company management, and departmental clients.
• Collaborate with other network professionals to coordinate efforts, resolve cross-team issues, and communicate changes. Qualifications: • 2-5 years of direct experience in network analysis and design. Required Skills: • CCNA or equivalent certification desirable.
• DOD 8570 IAT Level II required.
• Competent to work at a high technical level on all phases of network operations.
• Strong communication skills; demonstrates tact, effective listening, and follow-through.
• Ability to effectively deliver training and possess strong consulting skills.
• Capable of evaluating network performance and interacting with users to solve complex problems.
• Detail-oriented and organized; able to understand network evaluation criteria and be precise in assessments.
• Must closely follow network protocols and methodologies. Desired Skills: • CCNP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Military experience preferred.
• Ability to provide clear and effective direction to less experienced staff.
• Capable of reviewing the work of others and detecting errors or needed modifications.
