Job description
Responsibilities:
The General Manager will oversee our Strathmore apartments, A luxury rental building in New York City. This role requires a dynamic individual with a proven track record in luxury property management, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to handle complex operational challenges. The General Manager will ensure that Strathmore is managed to the highest standards, delivering an unparalleled living experience to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
Oversee daily operations of the Strathmore property, ensuring that all aspects run smoothly and efficiently.
Develop and implement property management policies and procedures to ensure the highest level of service and maintenance.
Coordinate with maintenance staff and external contractors to promptly address and resolve building issues.
Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify and address maintenance and repair needs.
Resident Relations:
Foster a positive community environment by addressing resident concerns and requests promptly and professionally.
Organize and oversee community events and initiatives to enhance resident engagement and satisfaction.
Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a high-quality living experience.
Coordinate with the leasing team to understand existing legacy rentals & status.
Financial Management:
Prepare and manage the property's annual budget, ensuring financial goal and objective adherence.
Oversee billing, collections, and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
Implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining the property's luxury standards.
Staff Supervision:
Contribute to evaluations and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for staff members.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure the property complies with all local, state, and federal regulations, including building codes and safety standards.
Implement and oversee health and safety protocols, including emergency preparedness plans.
Coordinate with legal and regulatory bodies as needed to address compliance issues.
Vendor and Contractor Management:
Select, negotiate, and manage contracts with vendors and service providers.
Ensure quality control and timely completion of projects and services provided by external contractors.
Maintain positive relationships with vendors to ensure the best service and pricing.

Qualifications:
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Property Management, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in property management, with a focus on Luxury Condominium properties.
Proven experience in managing high-end condominiums or similar properties in a major urban market.
Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management.
Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for creating a premier living experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Knowledge of local real estate laws and regulations.
Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified Property Manager (CPM) or equivalent certification.
Experience working in New York City's luxury real estate market.
Bilingual abilities are a plus.
