Job Description:
Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Join us as an Analyst for our Revenue Management Operations team, where you will play a crucial role in financial analysis, accounts payable, revenue reporting, and project management. You will ensure accurate data management, optimize recovery processes, and support decision-making for the greater MSK research community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare monthly analyses of aging reports, ensuring data accuracy in the General Ledger and Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS).
• Evaluate deficit funds and prepare reports for Revenue Management leadership.
• Manage Receivable Edge and collaborate with specialists to apply payments to appropriate research funds.
• Develop, maintain, and distribute ad-hoc reports and financial models for Revenue Management decision-making.
• Collaborate with CR Operations and MSK Finance on processing reimbursable items.
• Design and produce reports using SQL, Tableau, and other tools to inform stakeholders about revenue activity and compliance.
• Serve as a liaison with IT teams to enhance systems for revenue recovery and efficiency.
• Participate in special projects and provide regular updates on progress.
Key Qualifications:
• Experience in revenue management, finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with clinical trials and healthcare finance operations.
• Strong knowledge of systems such as SQL, Tableau, and Cognos.
Core Skills:
• Ability to prepare and analyze financial reports, identify trends, and ensure data accuracy.
• Work effectively with Clinical Research Operations, MSK Finance, and Principal Investigators to streamline processes and enhance recovery efforts.
• Experience with SQL, Tableau, Excel, and other data management tools to generate insightful reports.
• Capacity to lead special projects, improve workflows, and handle multiple priorities effectively.
Additional Information:
• This position involves a mix of responsibilities, including monthly revenue analysis, accounts payable and internal recovery, revenue reporting, revenue and systems project management, and special projects.
• The role requires proactive communication and the ability to engage with various partners across MSK.
• You will be expected to contribute to ongoing training and documentation to support the Revenue Management team.
