Description

• Provide administrative support to the Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager
• Assist the Estimator, APM, and the Project Manager throughout the bidding and buyout process, including outreach to subcontractors and preparing bid evaluation sheets
• Draft subcontracts and purchase orders for the Project Manager to review
• Collect and draft requests for information for the Project Manager to review
• Generate and maintain RFI Log, Submittal Log, and PCO Log
• Communicate with architects, engineers, and others to clarify scope of work, budget, schedule, and compliance requirements, and document these clarifications
• Assist the APM with the change order process
• Assist the APM with maintaining the project schedule
• Assist the APM with preparing all pay applications, payee lists, and job cost reports
• Coordinate with the Director of Project Accounting to ensure efficient billing process
• Maintain drawing log and ensure site personnel are working from the up-to-date plan
• Collaborate with the Superintendent to develop a project site logistics plan
• Track material procurement
• Monitor job-site safety
• Ensure project meets quality standards and regulatory requirements
• Build and maintain client and subcontractor relationships

Profile

• 2+ years of experience working for a general contractor

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering is preferred
• Experience with projects with contract value of $5M+
• Experience in multifamily housing, especially affordable housing, is preferred
• Ability to work cooperatively with a diverse team
• Proficiency with Procore or similar construction management software

Job Offer

• Base salary: $70 - $90k, dependent on experience
