We are a leader in the Trauma-Informed Care Movement, and provide training, coaching and consulting to outside organizations. Job Description Work and train under medical supervision for a period of up to 1638 hours, or until registered by the BRPT or ABSM performing overnight polysomnograms and other complex procedures. Work in a busy Sleep Center while training closely with Registered Sleep Technologists and physicians that are board certified in Sleep Medicine. Minimum Requirements High School diploma or GED. Must have completed either a STAR-designated Self-Study education program, or graduated from a CAAHEP or CoARC-accredited polysomnography education program. Must successfully complete all requirements for registry exam and successfully obtain registry in polysomnography within 6 months. Maintain BCLS for continued employment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Computer knowledge. Preferred Qualifications RPSGT/RST eligible, CNA, PCT/A, RMA, CMA , NRCMA, CCMA or other BRPT Accepted Allied Health Credential One or more years of clinical experience with direct patient care. Experience in sleep data collection, CPAP titration and scoring and stage recognition. MSLT and MWT experience. Working at University Health is about making a difference.
