What you will be working on (Job Description): Deliver simple solutions to complex problems as a Senior DevOps Engineer at Blackspoke. Here, you'll tailor cutting-edge solutions to the unique requirements of our clients. Design and define the DevSecOps architecture for new or existing IT systems. Write clean, functional code and command knowledge of traditional operations tasks. Coordinate system development, including design, modeling, security, integration, and formal testing. Manage and document system configurations, assisting in deploying new product features. Job Duties: Configure CI/CD for multiple web applications. Take source code, dependencies to perform application builds. Perform automated testing and security scans. Deploy to multiple environments (Dev, Staging, Operations). Handle Infrastructure as Code and configuration management. Author helm charts to deploy resources to OpenShift. Manage and document system security, perform software updates in response to scan findings, and document system architecture to demonstrate security compliance. What you will bring to us (Required Skills): 5-8+ years of experience. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field/major, or 3 additional years of IT experience. Proficiency with Linux operating systems. Experience with Git and working with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins, CircleCI). Use of Service+ and Jira for tracking questions, answers, and entering orders. Networking management for web applications, including understanding PCP/IP, DNS, and load balancing. Familiarity with Kubernetes and OpenShift, with knowledge of AWS, GCP, and/or Azure preferred. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK, Ansible, Chef, Puppet). Knowledge of containerization, monitoring, logging, and network & security. Experience in deploying and managing databases, including interacting with databases via SQL and ORMs. Skilled in Python and BASH for systems tooling. Incident resolution skills for customer hardware, software, and application issues, including customer telephone support and electronically submitted requests. Ability to contribute code updates to existing code repositories. Experience in software system design, creating application architectures for new applications, and integrating security components with applications and databases. Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph. Would be nice if you bring the following (Highly Desired): Familiarity with Configuration Management and Request for Change processes. Experience delivering integrated solutions using Agile software techniques. Technical certifications (e.g., Network+, Security+, Oracle) or specialization in Software Development or Cloud Computing. Experience in System Engineering and project/program management. Knowledge and/or experience with NGA enterprise products.
