Applications Engineer

Join our dynamic team as an Applications Engineer, where you'll work under the guidance of senior experts and gain hands-on experience in the field. Key Responsibilities:


  • Perform application engineering tasks under direct supervision.
  • Engage in training sessions with senior colleagues, our internal academy, and external resources.
  • Compile fixtures and work holding for demonstrations, test cuts, and turnkey solutions.
  • Conduct time estimates for customer parts and calculate optimal speeds and feeds for part processing.
  • Utilize CAPPS conversational programming, industry-standard CAM systems, and direct G-Code/Macro programming to create CNC programs.
  • Setup CNC machines, including programming, tooling, workpieces, and fixtures.
  • Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy, ensuring they meet high standards.
  • Generate detailed engineering reports and technical documentation.
  • Communicate frequently with internal technical staff, external customers, and suppliers.

Minimum Requirements:


  • BS Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or a related field preferred, and/or equivalent machining knowledge.
  • 0-2 years of related experience.
  • Proficiency in part processing, metal cutting, CNC programming, reading drawings, and machine setup.
  • Basic understanding of metallurgy.
  • Ability to travel up to 75%.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with both internal and external customers.
  • Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
