Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Commercial Acoustic Ceiling Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction estimating, specifically in commercial acoustic ceiling systems. This role involves analyzing project specifications, preparing accurate cost estimates, and collaborating with project managers and subcontractors to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

- Cost Estimation: Analyze blueprints, specifications, and project documents to prepare accurate and competitive estimates for commercial acoustic ceiling projects.

- Project Analysis: Evaluate project scope, materials, labor, and overhead costs to provide comprehensive estimates.

- Supplier Coordination: Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing for materials and services.

- Bid Preparation: Prepare and submit detailed bid proposals, ensuring all relevant information is included.

- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, architects, and clients to clarify project requirements and address any concerns.

- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, pricing, and new products to ensure competitive bidding.

- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of estimates, correspondence, and project documentation for future reference.

- Site Visits: Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and gather necessary information for accurate estimating.

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

- Experience: Minimum X years of estimating experience in commercial construction, with a focus on acoustic ceilings.

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift) and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and relevant building codes.

- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of effectively collaborating with diverse teams.

- Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
