Job description

To develop clear, well-structured analytical plans. Analyze large data sets, such as analyzing process, operational, and product quality data and other data sets. Develop Key Performance Indicators within the business in order to identify trends and evaluate the success of the businesss initiatives. Oversee and conduct the conversion of data into insights that will lead to informed business decisions. Work directly with stakeholders and Global Qualitys top management and executives and share observations and recommendations with management, executives, and stakeholders for further consideration. Build statistical models and ad hoc reports/visualizations and diagnose/validate/improve the performance of these models over time in addition to creating efficient and reusable Python/R/SQL/Other code meant for the improvement, manipulation, and analysis of data. Employer permits employees in this role to work remotely from their residence 2-3 days a week so long as that is within normal commuting distance or within the same metropolitan statistical area. Job requires:
No less than a Masters degree in Data Science, Math, Engineering, or related field, and at least 5 years of experience in job offered or similar role in Programming, Data Analytics, Data Science, Machine Learning, Business Intelligence, or System Analytics.

OR

No less than a Bachelors degree in Data Science, Math, Engineering, or related field, and at least 10 years of experience in job offered or similar role in Programming, Data Analytics, Data Science, Machine Learning, Business Intelligence, or System Analytics.

Special Requirements:
Prior experience must include:
At least 1 year of experience in AI/ML algorithm development (Natural Language Processing, Time-Series, Predictive modelling).
At least 1 year of experienced in core programming languages and data science packages (eg: Python and R, Python libraries: Numpy, Pandas, Matplotlib, FBProphet, Scikit-learn, Beautiful Soup, NLTK etc.)
At least 2 years of experience with public cloud (Azure or GCP or AWS) or equivalent.
At least 2 years of experience in Quality Pharma, Manufacturing especially with quality assurance, testing, validating and verification of the code, system, feature, and functionality.
At least 3 years of experience in an Agile working environment and related project management tools (Jira, Confluence, HP Application Lifecycle Management, HP Quality Center etc.)
At least 5 years of experience with different database like Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, IBM DB2, TOAD 11.0, MySQL and presentation of visualizations, business intelligence, data modeling, and data analysis software such as: Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or Microsoft Access.
