Job description

Cyber Centurion is currently seeking Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO)/Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) to join our team in Adelphi - College Park, Maryland. As a member of the Security Control team this validator will be responsible for planning, analyzing, documenting, and reporting activities associated with the system security accreditation and authorization (A&A) process. Ideal candidates will have a background in policy development, enforcement and management. Key Responsibilities:
Utilize knowledge of Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability Levels and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publication 800-53 controls associated with each level
Analyzing IA systems in unclassified and classified environments for compliance with NIST, Committee on National Security Systems (CNSS) Instruction, Department of Defense (DoD), US Army security configuration requirements, and industry best practices
Review and update existing documentation; policy and procedures, SOPs, previous accreditation documents
Review and ensure technical details of networks, systems and applications are compliant with current NIST, CNSS, and DOD guidelines and instructions. Desired Experience:
Experience in planning, analyzing, documenting, and reporting activities associated with the system security accreditation and authorization (A&A) process
Knowledge of NIST, CNSS, DoD, and Army policies, regulations, and guidelines
Bachelors' Degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum 5 years of working experience in Information Systems including Information Technology/ cybersecurity
Active DoD Clearance
Ability to obtain required DoD 8570 certification prior to start
