What You'll Do:

  • Lead the annual audit process, liaise with auditors, and ensure all necessary documentation is prepared.
  • Oversee general ledger accounting and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Manage the preparation and analysis of monthly budget-to-actual reports and annual financial statements.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and presentations for executive leadership and the Board of Trustees.
  • Oversee treasury activities, including cash flow projections and risk management strategies.
  • Mentor and lead a dedicated team of accountants, fostering growth and excellence.


What We're Looking For:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in accounting required; a Master's degree is a plus.
  • Experience & Expertise: A minimum of 5 years in accounting, with deep knowledge of tax and financial accounting. CPA certification is required, along with at least 3 years in a management role.
  • Sector Experience: Experience in the nonprofit or philanthropic sectors is preferred, especially with grants management.
