Description

As a frontline customer service representative for field services interacts with school offices, administrative offices, associated vendors, and contractors to manage primary office equipment assets; orders, receives, tracks, and audits equipment and/or parts associated with inventory such as copiers, computers, projectors, fire alarms, and/or phone systems; monitors and communicates warranty information; disposes of assets appropriately, recycling when possible; collaborates across the division to identify equipment needs, proactively pursue solutions, and provide best practice customer service.

Qualifications

Required

  • Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in business administration, supervision, or in a technical specialty field.
  • One (1) year experience in a technical field, in an oversight or lead role.
    • Advanced degree(s) beyond the minimum degree requirement in a relevant field may be considered for some experience.
  • Possession of an appropriate, valid motor vehicle operator's license with a good driving record.
  • Knowledge of national, state, county, school board regulations, directives, and policies and/or codes applicable to functional responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of best practices with respect to customer service.
  • Knowledge of best practices with respect to customer service.
  • Proficiency in the use of technology and data compilation, analysis, and reporting.
  • Ability to handle customer inquiries, while maintaining a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to work in a highly structured, large volume, and detail-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work independently to resolve conflicts and problems.
  • Ability to facilitate meetings and/or present information to groups.
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with diverse school personnel, peers, subordinates, and the public.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
