Job Summary:

The Commercial Lines Insurance Team Manager will oversee and manage a team of insurance professionals specializing in commercial lines. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of commercial insurance products, and a proven ability to drive team performance and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Management:


    • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 8 - 12 commercial lines account managers and CSR's.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
    • Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Client & Policy Management:


    • Oversee the development, implementation, and management of commercial insurance policies.
    • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through exceptional service and timely resolution of issues.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and brokers.
  • Operational Efficiency:


    • Monitor and improve team workflows and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
    • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
    • Manage and resolve complex or escalated insurance claims and issues.
  • Strategic Planning & Development:


    • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategic goals and initiatives for the commercial lines department.
    • Analyze market trends and adjust strategies to meet changing client needs and industry developments.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial lines insurance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, market trends, and industry regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage a team, drive performance, and achieve departmental goals.
  • Relevant insurance licenses and certifications are preferred.
