Job Title: Talent Development Specialist

Location: San Jose, CA (hybrid) or Remote (PST Preferred)

Duration: 3+ Months (high possibility of extension)

Job Description:

We're looking for an organized and proactive learning and development specialist who excels at facilitating and delivering impactful learning experiences, leveraging technology for scalable learning solutions, and managing the day-to-day learning operation.

Key Responsibilities:

Facilitation and Delivery:

  • Lead engaging and dynamic learning sessions, virtually and in-person, across many topics, including onboarding, candid communications, psychological safety, etc.

  • Ensure a positive, interactive, and learner-centered experience in all sessions, adapting facilitation methods to meet diverse learning styles.

  • Manage logistics for virtual and live learning sessions, ensuring seamless delivery and engagement with learners from different regions.

    Tech-Enabled Learning Solutions:

  • Leverage a variety of tech-enabled learning platforms and tools to create scalable and personalized learning experiences.

  • Stay informed about the latest technological trends in learning and development, including AI-driven tools, virtual learning environments, and mobile learning solutions.

  • Partner with the learning technology solutions manager to support the usage and optimization of our tech-enabled learning.

    Administrative And Logistical Support:

  • Regularly update and maintain our hub page (client's intranet) for employee development offerings, ensuring content is current and accessible.

  • Support the planning and execution of learnfest, one of client's signature learning events, including coordination with internal teams and external vendors.

  • Provide logistical support for the planning and execution of instructor-led training sessions, including scheduling, material preparation, and venue coordination.

  • Draft and distribute clear and effective communications for global audiences regarding learning opportunities, programs, and events.

    Impact Measurement And Data Support:

  • Collect and analyze data to assess the effectiveness of learning programs, including participant engagement, knowledge retention, and business impact.

  • Provide insights and data to support the employee development team in crafting compelling data-driven stories about the impact of learning initiatives.

  • Assist in gathering and organizing feedback, performance metrics, and other relevant data to inform continuous improvement efforts.

    Continuous Learning And Innovation:

  • Stay current on industry best practices and emerging trends in learning facilitation, delivery, and technology.

  • Be proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation in client's learning programs.

  • Embrace ambiguity and adapt quickly to changing business needs to deliver effective learning solutions.

    Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in learning and development with a strong focus on facilitation and program delivery.

  • Strong familiarity with tech-enabled learning platforms and tools (e.g., LMS, e-learning, AI-driven learning, or other digital tools).

  • Experience in managing administrative tasks, such as updating content, planning events, and drafting communications.

  • Self-starter with a high level of comfort in ambiguous environments, able to take initiative and drive results independently.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience collaborating with diverse and dispersed teams.

  • Instructional design experience is a plus, but not required.

  • Experience in collecting and analyzing data to assess program effectiveness and support data-driven decision-making.

  • Experience with data analytics and reporting tools (such as Tableau) is a plus.
