Job description

Job Summary:
We're seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team, responsible for resolving complex cybersecurity problems and ensuring the security of information systems. Key Responsibilities:
Analyze information security requirements and provide security engineering support
Integrate electronic processes and methodologies to resolve system problems
Assess proposed changes for cybersecurity impact
Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and regulations
Evaluate and validate cybersecurity products
Conduct security scans and analyses on source code
Develop plans for addressing defects and vulnerabilities
Review end-of-life software and plan updates
Ensure adherence to NIST Risk Management Framework guidance
Maintain situational awareness of security weaknesses
Deliver required documentation, including STIG checklists and inventory spreadsheets Requirements:
7+ years of relevant IT experience
DOD Secret Clearance (TOP SECRET Clearance required for CERT Analyst duties)
Eligibility for IT II
Relevant certification meeting DOD 8570.01 IAM level III (non-CERT) or IAT level III (CERT)
CNDSP-IR certification (for CERT personnel)
Experience with:
ACAS
ArcSight Enterprise Security Manager (ESM) 5.0
ArcSight Logger 5.0
HBSS Administrator
McAfee Network Security Platform Administration Nice to Have:
Experience with cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, DOD 8500 series)
Knowledge of vulnerability management and penetration testing
Familiarity with cloud security and DevSecOps
