Overview of the Accounting Clerk Role:

As an Accounting Clerk, you'll be an essential part of the team, managing daily financial tasks to ensure smooth operations. Key responsibilities for the Accounting Clerk include:

• Processing Certificates of Insurance (COIs).
• Distributing mail and ensuring correspondence reaches the appropriate departments.
• Making daily deposits and managing incoming funds.
• Reviewing vendor and tenant contracts, permits, and licenses for accuracy.
• Answering client calls and providing exceptional service.
• Processing tax-exempt forms and managing documentation.
• Handling chargebacks and group billing inquiries.
• Assisting with requests for proposals (RFPs) and ensuring timely responses.

Preferred Qualifications for the Accounting Clerk:

• 1-2 years of experience in a similar Accounting Clerk role, ideally with a background in customer service.
• Familiarity with PeopleSoft is a plus!
• Basic proficiency in Excel for day-to-day tasks.
