Responsibilities:
The Sourcing Manager (Regional) position is responsible for sourcing vendors for the East region and managing the vendor relationships.

Must reside in the Florida market

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Central point of contact for project and market staff. Liaison between Corporate VMO, business partners, vendors, suppliers, project teams, and corporate support teams

Advocate for partners and vendors

Actively engage partners and promote mutually beneficial initiatives.

Recruit and vet general contractors for both wireless and fiber infrastructure builds

Provide leadership and total lifecycle supplier relationship management.

Provide daily, weekly, and monthly accountability in support of market vendor base.

Schedule and coordinate the mobilization of contractor resources.

Monitor purchase orders.

Collaborate with the markets to reconcile vendor accounts.

Analyze, organize, and report on large data sets.

Assist with unique projects and help drive new initiatives in market.

Provide training, ad-hoc financial analyses and reporting.

Help conduct vendor meetings and lead ongoing communications.

Support management, field teams, and other cross-functional departments

Support the development, enhancement, and management of the VMO Vendor Compliance program.

Prepare and submit weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reports.

Support customer program goals and objectives: promote supplier diversity, vendor incentive programs, etc.

Aid Corporate VMO (Vendor Management Organization) in the proper vetting of prospect vendors and facilitate due diligence reviews.

Conduct market research and help maintain pipeline of qualified candidates to meet market needs.

Work with market leaders to understand / interpret the needs of your region.

Maintain integrity, impeccable action within markets and lead ethically and by example.

Attend industry related trade shows and conventions.

Promote collaboration between market leaders and within the Sourcing organization.

Knowledgeable of state and local laws for General Contractor licensing requirements

Qualifications:
Skills and Experience:

Working knowledge of Oracle, QuickBase, Avetta, and other similar online industry/SaaS database supplier relationship management applications

Strong communicator and presenter

Professional Demeanor /Executive presence

Proactively manage and develop key vendor relationships.

Must have a proven track record in negotiating pricing and reducing costs.

Coordinate with HQ on addition of new vendors

Maintain tracker on vendor crews, assist in issuing of work based on crew availability.

Coordinate pricing approvals with executive team

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

Minimum of five years of experience in vendor management and in operations

Outstanding oral and written communication skills

Strong negotiation experience

Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access

Ability to travel up to 25%

Familiarity with vendors (telecom construction) along the East Coast, specifically Florida and Georgia markets.
