Purpose & Impact:
Complete all work assignments provided by assigned supervisor, have general knowledge of office procedures and equipment; and handle assignments with various levels of difficulty.
Essential Functions:

Answer phone calls, properly record and forward messages, or make appropriate

Greet all guests and clients in a courteous and professional

Assist in sorting and distribution of mail on a timely

Maintain a library of informational material used in the programs, e., books, video tapes, etc.

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to sit for long periods of time answering phone; able to use computer equipment. Must be able to speak clearly over the phone and be professional as well as in person.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
One to three years of related experience is required.
Skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and

Able to type efficiently and accurately with minimal errors, be able to maintain a filing system and have knowledge of general office operating and administrative procedures.

Possess good communication and interpersonal relationship

Must demonstrate sensitivity to our service population's cultural and socioeconomic characteristics and needs.
