Position Title: Senior Functional Analyst/Tester Location: Remote with occasional travel to Washington, DC and Springfield, VA Position Overview: Marathon TS is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst/Tester who can support our growing Salesforce, Microsoft, and Automation lines of business. We are looking for someone in the greater Washington, DC area to play a lead role in 1) developing and executing test plans and scripts, and 2) providing business analyst consulting services to our clients. This opportunity is specific to our Department of Homeland Security (Client), Transportation Security Administration (TSA) client. This role will be responsible for supporting a wide range of project activities spanning business and technology environments. Our TSA customers are using a combination of Salesforce, Microsoft, and UiPath to create business process workflows, process automations, and to provide insightful analytics and visualizations to revolutionize their business through improved efficiency, reduced costs, and redeploying personnel from repetitive tasks to more value-added activities. As part of a cross functional agile team, the Senior Functional Analyst/Tester would lead customer interactions related to requirements elicitation, creating the resulting features/epics/user stories, creating and executing test plans and scripts, and supporting training and documentation. This is a fast-paced, demanding environment with access to senior client leadership, so the Senior Functional Analyst/Tester must be comfortable interacting with and advising government stakeholders across multiple levels. Marathon TS is seeking candidates with a mix of technical and business experience in mission-oriented environments. We are especially looking for candidates that are currently or have recently worked in Client and have an active EOD/Client clearance. Your future duties and responsibilities: • Work as part of an integrated agile team (e.g., Project Manager, Scrum Master, Software Architect, Developers), government stakeholders, and subject matter experts to help test and deploy solutions on the Salesforce, Microsoft, and UiPath platforms. • Support discovery and engineering of technical requirements working in close collaboration with the product owner and business users across multiple levels, including senior management. • Lead the design, development, and execution of test plans, cases, scripts, and test data to validate solutions. This includes creating and maintaining a full test plan, testing procedures, an associated library of test cases and scripts, test data (e.g., manufactured, obfuscated), and maintaining full traceability from the test plan through cases. • Provide project planning, management, communication, and coordination support to enterprise IT initiatives. • Facilitate collaborative planning sessions with senior-level business and IT stakeholders within the components. • Analyze business problems, understand the business process, and create process flow diagrams used as the basis for the solution design. • Help the project team create and manage the backlog using a combination of TFS and Salesforce. • Work in collaboration with other project teams to test, integrate, implement, and support solutions. • Apply experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft O365, and UiPath. • Provide analytical, development, and testing support and execute project level testing of the applications and solutions. • Utilize excellent organizational skills to adhere to project deadlines, create and maintain deliverables, and proactively achieve project milestones. • Establish client relationships; and ensure high-quality deliverables. • Proactively prioritize project tasks and identify project issues and risks. • Conduct research, analyze information needs, and perform analysis to support the delivery of relevant artifacts including business process diagrams, reports, and presentation. • Review and edit documents developed by others to ensure accuracy and quality of content, organization, language, format consistency, and conformance with established standards. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: • Bachelor's degree in technology, Business, mathematics, computer science, information systems, or other related discipline from an accredited college, university, or academic institution in the United States. • 8 years of experience working on, preferably leading, testing teams and efforts. • 8 years of experience working with solutions on the Salesforce, Microsoft, and UiPath platforms in a testing and requirements management capacity. • 8 years of experience with the execution and management of large-scale Information Technology (IT) Projects. • Existing and active Client EOD/clearance (TSA preferred). • Experience with client management including scoping and expectation setting is a must. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts. • Client friendliness with the ability to build and maintain trusting and value-added client relationships. • Experience working in agile teams. • Comfortable achieving a consensus across a diverse group of stakeholders. • Ability to work independently and in fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, with minimal supervision. Additional preferred qualifications: • Client 508 Tester certification • PMI PMP or PMI ACP Clearance: Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain a U.S. Federal government client badge and will be required to pass a government background investigation.
