Job description

Zachary Piper is seeking a Network Manager to support a Network Operations Centerlocated in Washington, DC. This is a great opportunity for a seasoned network guru to oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of network systems to support data, voice, and audio communications. The opportunity would be Hybrid with 3-4 days onsite to support network operations with customers contacts. Responsibilities of Network Manager: Manage a team of network analysts, network engineers, NOC Analysts, & security Engineers Oversee testing and validation network systems to ensure reliability and performance Conduct network architecture design, feasibility studies, cost assessments, internal performance, and traffic analysis Direct the analysis of short and long term capacity needs for switching, routing , transmission, and signaling Maintain up to date knowledge of network and computer hardware/software interconnections, including routers, switches, firewalls, hubs, bridges, and gateways Qualifications of Network Manager: 7+ years of experience in network management with managing sites & large end-user bases Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field Must have ITIL v3 Practitioner certification; ability to obtain ITIL 4 Managing Professional within the first 6 months Experience with Zero Trust Networks & Security Principles Must have US Citizenship or be Clearable Compensation of Network Manager: Salary Range: $120,000-$130,000 Full Cigna Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, & etc.)
