Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a Hybrid Cyber Security Engineer who will support a government contract located in Washington, DC. Responsibilities for the Hybrid Cyber Security Engineer: Develops and executes information security plans and policies Develop strategies and procedures to respond to, recover, and investigate security breach(es) Develop or implement open source/third-party tools to assist in detection, prevention and analysis of security threats Installs, configures, and updates firewalls, data encryption, and other security products to facilitate a secure posture Conduct periodic network scans to identify and remediate vulnerabilities Monitor networks and systems for security breaches using software that detects intrusions and anomalous system behavior Penetration testing experience (burp suite) Threat hunting experience (threat intelligence analysis), UBA Qualifications for Hybrid Cyber Security Engineer: 2 - 5 years of experience Created Firewalls (Palo Alto) Expirence in Splunk Engineer Able to Obtain a public trust Compensation for the Hybrid Cyber Security Engineer: $100,000 - $115,000 Depending on Experience.
