Job description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Asset / Life Cycle Manager to support a 5-year contract with the federal government. Responsibilities: IT Asset Management: provides for the management of assets throughout their lifecycles to balance service requirements and compliance to establish positive control on HW/SW and associated network infrastructure that eliminates redundant SW and HW assets and reduces related costs. The Contractor shall perform physical asset audits to validate inventory IAW applicable regulations and policy (CM-1). The Contractor shall manage spare parts and advise the Government when stock levels run low. Life Cycle Management: Support and manage the IT services component throughout its life (i.e., development, growth, maturity/stability, and decline/end-of-life/end-of-support) to enable continual service improvement (CSI), avoid stagnation and obsolescence, and enable smooth migrations as underlying technologies are upgraded or replaced.
- market analysis related to routine lifecycle refresh of network components, endpoint devices, equipment, SW, and annual maintenance.
- Provide technical risk and opportunity analysis to determine operational impact resulting from delayed/early execution of lifecycle refresh plans.
- Identify Bill of Materials (BOM), estimated costs, coordination requirements, schedule with procurement lead times, technical approach, and cybersecurity requirements for recommended and planned action.
- Implement and manage the ITIL improvement process for CSI.
- Conduct service and process assessment reviews and meetings annually in conjunction with the organization's spend plan creation.
Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (Engineering, Computer Science, etc.) or equivalent work experience. 2. At least 5 years of proven experience as an IT Asset Manager
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail. 4. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build positive relationships with subject matter experts and stakeholders. 5. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Security Clearance: DoD Secret Clearance
