Comprehensive Approach Solutions (CAS) is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant, Senior to join our Team in Washington, DC supporting the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence and Security (USD(I&S . This is to fill a vacancy on a new contract awarded with an estimated start date between 1-15 October, 2024. Experience Required: Minimum of 10 years of experience as an Executive Assistant working within the Department of Defense. Job Description: Provide a full range of executive level administrative support including: executive secretariat functions (e.g. correspondence management, editorial changes, and coordination), maintaining leadership's daily calendars, coordinating meetings, conferences, and video-teleconferences (to include taking minutes and maintaining invitations and attendee contact rosters); preparing and/or overseeing travel arrangements for staff personnel and assist with developing travel reports and travel vouchers upon completion of travel using the Defense Travel System (DTS); ensuring documents are prepared in the appropriate DoD format (which may entail technical writing/editing, editorial consultation, proofreading, or overall documentation review) and that documents are marked, filed, and retained in accordance with OSD and federal records disposition schedule, approved by the National Archives and Records Administration; tracking weekly work/leave status of all office employees via the Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) Portal or its equivalent; reviewing, monitoring, and reporting the status of action item activities and products using the Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS) and Joint Staff Action Processing (JSAP); supporting action officers for all required correspondence actions (e.g., formal letters, memorandum, read-ahead briefing/meeting packages, activity reports, senior leadership reports, and travel/training/personnel documents). Executive assistants may also serve as the administrative point of contact for government staff personnel in a sensitive compartmented information facility (SCIF) - tasks include monitoring access to SCIF, preparing and maintaining essential logistic and security requirements for the SCIF, answering phones, maintaining office files and the office filing system, tracking action items in the OUSD(I&S) suspense portal, and providing security support to special access programs as required.
