Western Door Federal is seeking an Environmental Analyst in Washington, D.C. The objective of this work is to review and evaluate environmental compliance and conservation of natural and cultural resource requirements and assist in developing solutions - with a focus on policy - for the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Installations, Energy, and Environment (IE&E). Responsibilities include, but are not limited to : Review and evaluate environmental compliance and conservation of natural and cultural resource requirements and assist in developing solutions, including but not limited to analyzing environmental compliance and conservation requirements, processes, procedures, business models, data, and existing procedures. May produce environmental documents, reports, maps, graphic presentation of data, and briefings. May produce statistical trends analyses of environmental data. Designs or modifies applicable documents to meet the requirements of the Government. Assist DASA (Environment, Safety, and Occupational Health - ESOH) Director for Environmental Quality in development of briefing materials related to the Army environmental quality program. Provide support to the DASA (ESOH) Environmental Quality Program. Such support shall include data collection, analyses, briefing preparation, working sessions, meeting attendance and coordination. Provide analysis assistance of environmental and conservations regulatory issues which affect the Army ESOH programs. This analysis shall summarize the potential to affect Army environmental practices and promote compliance on the installations. Assist in the preparation of policy and strategic guidance to either the DASA (ESOH) and/or the OASA (IE&E) based upon evaluating and assessing installation, command, and headquarters environmental requirements. Provide management support to either the DASA (ESOH) and/or the OASA (IE&E) including coordination of efforts with other contractors, Army Commands and other Government agencies and international entities to ensure maximum sharing of existing environmental management practices. Coordinate studies and actions in support of environmental quality and other solutions for environmental requirements on military bases. Support the DASA (ESOH) Environmental Quality Program including support for compliance and conservation program document development, data review, status reporting, meeting support, briefing preparation, strategic environmental plans review and input, coordination of Environmental Quality Program, and strategic policy and legislative actions. Provide DASA (ESOH) and/or the OASA (IE&E) with assistance on ESOH strategic communications. This assistance includes but is not limited to assistance in the development of strategic environmental campaign plans and coordination and development of Army strategic policy, and social media.
