Job description

We are seeking a DOORS Administrator / Requirements Lead. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the physical, functional, and technical requirements baselines. This role requires strong expertise in requirements management using the DOORS tool and the ability to collaborate across diverse teams to achieve program goals. Key Responsibilities:
Administer the DOORS tool for Huntsville (HSV), Colorado Springs (COS), and Missile Defense Integration and Operations Center (MDIOC), creating and synchronizing modules across these sites.
Manage system and component baselines in a requirements management system.
Generate system/element-level functional, performance, and interface specifications to document and control desired capabilities.
Produce reports such as specification traceability and metrics, and resolve user problems related to installation and Change Proposal System use.
Coordinate the Element Specification (ES), including conducting C2BMC internal Configuration Control Board (CCB), producing monthly Detailed and Summary ES reports, and maintaining different formats of ES in DOORS.
Support BMD XML specification initiatives, including identifying ways to use XML to report BMDS status and work on technical performance measures (TPMs).
Support the initiative to present DOORS requirements data via a browser-accessible interface.
Act as a technical interface to MDA working-level counterparts, ensuring high-quality products are delivered on time and within resource constraints.
Train less experienced personnel on systems engineering techniques and DOORS processes and procedures.
Review the content and details of technical products to ensure accuracy and compliance. Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree with additional experience may be substituted).
Proven experience in the development, integration, and support of large-scale Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications systems.
Experience with managing system and component baselines using a requirements management system.
Strong understanding of defining relationships between internal and external system components and effectively communicating them to a diverse group of stakeholders.
Extensive experience with DOORS administration, including creating modules, synchronizing data between sites, and generating reports.
Strong DOORS scripting skills (DXL scripting) and experience in improving DOORS database performance.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical approaches and findings clearly.
Ability to analyze high-level needs and develop structured requirements management schemas and attributes.
Proficient in implementing engineering plans within a project environment. Desired Qualifications:
Strong understanding of BMDS Battle Management, Command & Control, and Communications systems.
Experience in the integration of product lines and the generation of capability specifications.
Ability to train and mentor junior engineers in systems engineering techniques and DOORS usage.
Ability to interface with C2BMC management, team members, and government customers to ensure smooth project execution.
Familiarity with presenting requirements data through a browser-accessible interface.
