Job description

The Commercial Superintendent will oversee Colorado construction of ground up and remodel projects valued in the $5-30M range They are in charge of organizing, planning, and overseeing Project Superintendents for multiple projects concurrently.

Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Oversee all phases of construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage construction teams, including subcontractors and site personnel. Foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Scheduling: Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules. Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure construction work meets or exceeds industry standards and client expectations.
  • Safety: Ensure all construction activities comply with safety regulations and company policies. Promote a culture of safety on all job sites.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and expenses. Identify cost-saving opportunities and address any financial discrepancies.
  • Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients. Maintain strong relationships and address any concerns or issues promptly.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular project updates, progress reports, and forecasts to senior management and clients.

Profile

A successful General Superintendent should have the following:

  • 10+ years of ground up Commercial project experience
  • Degree in Construction Management or related industry degree preferred
  • Proficient in CMiC, Bluebeam, MS Office, Primavera 6
  • OSHA 30 Certification, First Aid Certification, Stormwater Management Cert

Job Offer

Competitive salary & bonus commensurate with experience - typically between $120,000-160,000

This is a Castle Rock, CO based opportunity with projects in Denver and Colorado Springs
