Overview:

We're searching for an enthusiastic and experienced Supervisor to lead our MRKT team in crafting the perfect cup of coffee while maintaining high standards in food preparation and guest service. As the MRKT Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of the resort's coffee shop, ensuring top-quality beverages, food offerings, and excellent service. You will lead a team of baristas, maintain the highest standards in coffee preparation and food handling, and create a warm, inviting atmosphere for our guests. Pay Rate $21.00

Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead the MRKT team to ensure smooth daily operations.

Train, mentor, and develop staff on proper coffee preparation techniques, food handling, and guest service.

Ensure all beverages and food items are prepared according to high standards, with attention to presentation, taste, and safety.

Oversee the preparation and handling of food items such as pastries, sandwiches, and other snacks, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Manage inventory, order supplies, and monitor stock levels to maintain a well-prepared coffee shop.

Create and maintain staff schedules, ensuring proper coverage during peak times.

Assist in menu development, offering creative input on new coffee and food offerings.

Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of all equipment, prep areas, and workspaces, adhering to health and safety standards.

Provide exceptional customer service, addressing guest feedback and ensuring a positive experience for every visitor.

Collaborate with other resort departments to ensure seamless service for guests.

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a barista, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.

Strong understanding of coffee brewing techniques and espresso equipment, as well as basic food preparation and handling.

Experience with food safety regulations and sanitation practices.

Leadership and team management skills, with the ability to coach and motivate staff.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
