Job Title: Architect / Project Manager

Location: San Diego, California

Job Overview:

A San Diego-based architectural firm is seeking an experienced Architect / Project Manager with a background in healthcare projects. The ideal candidate will be a California-licensed architect with over 10 years of experience working with OSHPD/HCAi permitting and the ability to manage all aspects of the architectural process, from code analysis to construction administration. Proficiency in REVIT and CAD is essential, along with strong project management skills to oversee multiple projects simultaneously and maintain effective communication with clients, consultants, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development and design of healthcare projects, ensuring compliance with OSHPD/HCAi and other regulatory requirements.

Conduct detailed code analysis and field investigations to ensure project feasibility and adherence to standards.

Manage project phases including Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documentation, and Permitting.

Prepare and oversee REVIT and CAD drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications.

Facilitate the bid process and oversee construction administration, collaborating closely with clients, consultants, and contractors to achieve project milestones.

Provide leadership and direction to project teams, ensuring clear communication and efficient workflow throughout the project lifecycle.

Effectively balance multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality and client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

Licensed Architect in the State of California.

10+ years of experience with healthcare projects, including OSHPD/HCAi permitting and state agency requirements.

Advanced proficiency in REVIT and CAD software, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in producing detailed drawings and documents.

Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and healthcare design standards.

Excellent project management skills, with proven ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with clients, consultants, and contractors.
